Bhosari, 25 Sep (The Press Watch) – Pimpri-Chinchwad witnessed heavy rainfall on Tuesday night causing water logging in Bhosari, Dighi, Hinjewadi And Bankar Chowk area.
Water was logged upto7 to 8 feets in various residencial socities and slum areas of Bhosari. Which drowned Twowheelers and cars. While in slums like Mahatma Fulenagar and Landewadi the condition was worst.

Thankfully there were no casualities as the pcmc fire Brigade, police and social workers rushed to the spot.
While the Itians from Hinjewadi and Wakad area suffered due to water logging in Banker chowk which also caused few normal accidents and heavy traffic conditions.
In heavy rains till late night Pimpri-Chinchwad police were seen regulating traffic.
Some areas that majorly suffered losses were Adarsh Colony, GaneshNagar Bopkhel, Dighi, Landewadi, Adinathnagar, Bhosari, Hindi medium school area, Ramnagar, Krushna Dairy.
After a major hard work water level has come down, people are safe but were seen complaining about the drainage cleaning due to which such condition was occurred.
Officers from fire brigade Sub officer Namdev Shingade, Shantaram Kate, Supare and team hard worked on Tuesday night to safeguard the people by bringing the waterlogging conditions to normal.
