Maval, 27 Sep (The Press Watch) – Corporator Sunil Shankarrao Shelke the Ex. Vice president of Talegaon Municipal Council and an Active BJP worker is said to be the strongest opponent of Sitting MLA and State Minister Sanjay alias Bala Vishwanath Bhegde.
He is being seen as the future face to contest assembly election from Maval. Most of the youngsters are seem to be supporting Shelke. Practically he is been gaining fame through various programs, rallies and meetings through his straightforward talk.
Most of the Mavalkars believe in him and they want him as their future MLA.
Shelke come into focus when one of his close worker was hit hard and for this he blamed State Minister Bala Bhegde workers.
In the year 2011, he was part of the opposition party, still worked as a member of Standing Committee Planning and Family Welfare. Because of his inspiring leadership style and determination, he was given a responsibility as a Leader of Opposition in 2013.
In 2016 he was elected as an unopposed representative from BJP. He has served as Deputy President and additionally as chairman of water supply department. He was very instrumental in solving the critical water crisis in Talegaon Dabahde with very little cost. Beside this Shelke has a strong PR in Maval.
His elder brother late Sachin Balasaheb Shelke also served as Corporator of Bharatiya Janata Party.
Now here the question arise, Shelke and Bhegde both are from BJP and to whom the Assembly ticket will be allotted, the Mavalkars are eagerly waiting for that moment.
