Pimpri, 12 Nov (The Press Watch) – The workers or the employes who were working under NEEM system (National Employability Enhancement Mission) in the District and the state will now be benefitted with EPF and MP Act 1952 and provided Social security.
The policies that were not good for the workers and harrasing them for years, instead of employes they were treated as slaves. The Mumbai high court has issued an order to all NEEM agent’s and contractor’s to avail all the services and facilities according to MP Act 1952. After Shramik Ekta Mahasangh, Chinchwad Filed a suit against this law in Mumbai High court.
According to Mahasangh research report, 1 lakh 45 thousand workers work under NEEM system in Pune District which is highest number than any other. The High Court is going take strict actions against the contractors who will not avail the policies as guided.
In this Matter Mahasangh member’s mate MP Amar Sable for help and the subject was discussed with Central Minister of Labour and Employment Santosh Gangwar in which he also took good action’s supporting workers.
As NEEM has affected permanent system, workers are treated sever than slaves with minimum wages, no medical facility, no job security and increment for years and so order of the court has given a hope of development economically and Socially in the lives of the workers.
And to do so Shramik Ekta Mahasangh member’s Dilip Pawar, Santosh Kanse, Manoj Patil, Maruti Jagdale, Corporator Keshav Gholave, Arvind Shrotri, Nitin Kulkarni took efforts.
