Pune, 24 Nov (The Press Watch) – Speaking at a Stress Management Workshop organized by the Pune Chapter of National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM), at the Auditorium of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Mr. Vivek Doba, a renowned motivational speaker, claimed that a positive attitude, coupled with free-flowing and clear communication can easily relieve stressful situations.
Various HR Professional, Faculties and students of Management Science took part in the session. The participants expressed concern over increasing stress levels among people of all ages.
Speaking on the occasion, Capt. Dr. C.M Chitale, Chairman of the NIPM Pune Chapter said: “Our daily life is full of stress due to several reasons. It can be related to work, family circumstances, personal habits and attitude and interaction with people around us. Stress has a negative effect on our work efficiency, health and relationships. A person who is stressed often takes wrong decisions and delays the rightful actions.
Such a person generally becomes low in productivity and quality at work and he is unable to keep himself happy at the same time. Stress has become a common problem and it is important to conduct such sessions for HR professionals to enlighten and guide for better behavior and communication skills, resulting in happiness in their lives.”
During the session, a special session on stress management was conducted by Vivek Doba an NLP coach and expert in taking motivational sessions and human energy channeling processes. During the interaction with participants, he explained in detail the reasons of stress, various remedial methods and techniques to control and reduce stress significantly.
Vivek Doba also explained about how stress could cause a number of diseases like blood pressure, heart attack, depression, frustration and serious mental and physical disorders.Dr. Rajendra Sabnis, Executive Member of NIPM Pune Chapter, pressed upon participants to live a healthy and stress-free life. He also thanked Vivek Doba for sharing her knowledge and expertise with HR Professional and students.
More than 180 HR Professionals of Various Companies from Pune, PCMC, Chakan, Hinjewadi, Hadapsar MIDC Area and Faculty Members and Students of Various Management Institutes from Pune attended the session.
