Pune, 27 Nov (The Press Watch) – Janet Agrawal (Eternal Beauty) from Pune Rameshwari Vaishampayan (Mrs) and Abhilasha Jadhav (Miss) from Chalisgaon have been adjudged winners at ‘The Gorgeous Queen of Maharashtra 2019’, a beauty contest organised by White Divine Events.
In the Eternal beauty category, Aurangabad’s Swati Chavan, Pune’s Manali Dev, in ‘Mrs’ category Islampur’s Smita Patil, Raver from Jalgaon’s Shritika Patil, in ‘Miss’ category Pune’s Kanal Vispute, Nagpur’s Krutika Jog in the order bagged first and second runner up. Janet Agrawal also bagged the ‘beauty with cause’ title. The founder of the White Divine Events, Dr. Pallavi Prasad announced the winners at a media conference. Geetanjali Khairnar was selected as ‘the Gorgeous Queen International’ who was also present for the conference.
Dr Pallavi Prasad said, “The grand finale of this event recently took place at the Seven Heaven Hall, Navale Lawns on Pune-Bangalore highway. A total of 23 participants were selected after many audition rounds in different districts followed by preliminary rounds. In this contest, top three participants in three categories including ‘Miss’, ‘Mrs’, and ‘Eternal Beauty’ were selected.
The central theme of the contest was ‘depression awareness’. The participants displayed various talents and won the hearts of the audience. In future, the contestants will be brand ambassadors and contribute for a depression-free society.”
On the occasion, cine star Megha Dhade, Groomer Chahat Dalal, director Kedar Gaikwad, social worker Santosh Chakankar among others were present. Kuldeep Bapat was camera person, make-up by Shweta Kekal and dress designed by Himali Rane.
The Gorgeous Queen of Maharashtra is organised annually in order to give a platform to showcase their talent. We always try to give the talents of Maharashtra an opportunity to present it. through this medium, the contestants can always showcase their talents and develop their beauty and in future they can get opportunities in films and related fields, said Dr Pallavi Prasad.
