Aurangabad, 22 Dec (Vedika Motale) – The Adarsh Teachers’ Committee organized a march from Kranti Chowk to the Divisional Commissioner’s Office on Saturday. Through this march, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and the Minister of Rural Development were given a petition through the Commissioner.
Thousands of teachers from across the state participated for this march.
The march was organized to attract the attention of the government on various issues including non-subsidized school teachers should get old pension scheme, 100% subsidy, hiring of art sports teachers, increasing the standard of school nutrition and food aid.
Determine teachers’ monthly wages, discontinue contributory pension plans, give uniforms to all students, discontinue non-teaching activities, teachers announced in the march.
A total of 3 demands were submitted to the Commissioner. These include updates on point names, cancellation of an unfair teacher transfer policy of 27/2, such as demands. The march also included female teachers along with men.
Various marches are currently being organized in the city. Therefore the city is becoming the focal point of the march.
