Aurangabad, 26 Dec (Kalyani Pawar) – The last solar eclipse of this decade began at 8:04 am today.The eclipse was seen in many cities of the country including Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Chennai, Mysore, Kanyakumari.
At most places, solar eclipse was observed in some parts of Khandagras in South India.
It was a rare opportunity to connect with nature and space. However, due to cloudy weather and fog in the city people eagerly waiting to watch the eclipse felt sad but some were lucky to see it.
Although the moon was far away from the Earth at the time of the solar eclipse, the moon did not cover the entire sun.
The circular edges of the sunbeam were seen as the moon covered some part of the sun. Which is also known as a ‘fire ring’.In India, the eclipse was visible for approximately 2.52 hours. That ended at 10:56 am.
