Florida, 24 Sep (The Press Watch) – Hanmantrao Gaikwad, Chairman and Managing Director of BVG India Group was honored with the ‘Agriculture Innovation’ award on Saturday for innovations in the agricultural sector. Award was given to him during a special ceremony in Tampa Bay, South Florida.
The award was given to Gaikwad by the American Association of Farmers of Indian Origin (AAFIO). BVG has taken steps to make radical changes in the lives of Indian farmers by doubling the production of poison-free farming and agricultural production, and has created a number of products on the basis of innovation for agriculture which has amazingly positive results on agriculture.
Rahul Mhaskar, president of Tampa Bay, president of the Board of Nanotechnology at the University of South Florida, spoke on the occasion. Yashwant Pathak, Sudhir Deshmukh, Hemant Dalvi, Pradeep Naiknavre and others were present. Gaikwad was given this award by entrepreneur Balaji Aaglave.
On this occasion, a lecture of Hanmantrao Gaikwad was also arranged where he said, “BVG is working to improve the quality of life of ten crore people in India. BVG has prepared the agriculture products which are chemical free and which has successful results to double the production, it has changed the lives of thousands of farmers.
