Pune, Dec 15 – Due to financial lacking, many children in society are finding it difficult to have access to education. At this time, the activities undertaken by the Aasaara Foundation and the Troika Committee are very important to the community. All of us need to take the initiative and be involved in it. It will directly help the needy. Such institutions would also help improve the quality of education. The municipality will cooperate with all such institutions for the benefit of the students, Head, Education dept. PMC Meenakshi Raut said.
Aasaara Foundation and Troika Committee distributed basic school kits to the children of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Primary School at Kothrud, yesterday. During the speech, Assistant Administrative Officer of Education Department Manorama Aware, Principal Rajashree Sawant, Supervisor Damayanti Raut and Pratibha Khade were present on the occasion.
The program “Kalam se Kalaam Tak” is organized by the Aasaara Foundation for the primary and secondary schools in the state under which, two notebooks, two pencils, an eraser, a sharpener and a ruler(scale) was handed out. 200 schools kits were distributed to children up to seventh grade.
Ajinkyagiri Gosavi expressed his views on behalf of the Troika Committee. Assistant Training Officer of the Education Department, Manorama Aware, stated the purpose of organizing the program in an introductory speech. Savita Mahajan was anchoring the program. Yash Bothe Patil, Chief Executive Officer of Aasaraa Foundation thanked them for their contribution and warm presence.
