It served as a motivating factor to see the smile on the girls faces and that speaks volume of the work done here at FICCI FLO Pune chapter,” mentioned Sakshi Singh Dhoni. She also stressed the importance of how a women should be self reliant and be an intellectual to move up in her personal and professional life.
She was talking at FICCI FLO Pune Chapter first conversation of year 2020. At this event, FLO Pune announced a scholarship to support 6 female Agriculture Students through Agriculture College for BSc Agriculture (4 years) and 4 nursing college students (BSc Nursing, 4 years) through Lila Poonawalla Foundation.
The Chapter and the girls were truly honored to receive the first year scholarship amount through Sakshi Dhoni recently in the presence of Ritu Prakash Chhabria, Chairperson FLO Pune Chapter, EC members, Dr. Pramod Rasal, Dean of Agriculture College and the 6 meritorious students.
“The success of a woman lies in giving her a good education, to create a holistic development and inculcate entrepreneurship skills which makes her sustain a better livelihood” said Ritu Prakash Chhabria. Dr. Rasal appreciated the initiative that FLO has taken towards empowering young aspiring students for providing this scholarship.
